I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been referred to as the friend that knows about the best new nail polish color. Or where to find the comfiest workout pants that aren’t see-through in the butt. Or a great movie to watch for girls night. I spend a lot of time on the internet and for some reason, I retain an unreasonable amount of useless information. But to be honest, I can’t think of a time that someone has asked me for a recommendation for something and I don’t have a decent answer. Recommending things is kind of my speciality.
So that brings me to the first installation of my new series “The Very Best,” where I’m going to be featuring my very best tips and tricks. First up: cake pops. Becuase, why not?
Every year for Valentine’s Day Dan sends me chocolate covered strawberries from Sheri’s Berries. Then we eat them together. It’s become a little tradition.
A few weeks ago, I turned 30 (I don’t want to talk about it). I was stoked, and slightly confused, when a Sheri’s Berries box arrived at my office (it’s not Valentine’s day)! Imagine my surprise when I opened it and it wasn’t from Dan, but my best friend! And it wasn’t chocolate covered strawberries, but cake pops!
I almost expected them to be berry-filled cake pops- nope. I shit you not, these were hands down the best cake pops I have ever had. And from a company that doesn’t specialize in baked goods! The outside was rich, thick, sweet icing. And inside was the most moist (moistest?) cake ever. Usually, I eat one cake pop and immediately need another, but not the case with these. One was so rich and delicious it felt like a whole dessert.
So anyway, if you are looking for the best cake pop ever, you can find them here (and they’re currently offering 15% off for Mother’s Day!). Send me some!
Sheri isn’t paying me to say this, by the way. I just really love cake. And cake on a stick. And Sheri’s Berries.
Have you had Sheri’s Berries?
Spill it- best cake pops you’ve ever had?
